Evoking Emotion with Art

April 16, 2011 § Leave a comment

One of my favorite design assignments is to find art for a client.  I recently took a few days to search local galleries for an original piece for a client who wanted a piece that spoke to her.  I snapped photos of my favorite pieces, emailed them to her and then brought to her home the ones she loved the most to see them in her space.  Here are some of my personal favorites among the many intriguing options.

The watercolor, titled “Sticks and Stones” was, and still is, a temptation for my client and her husband.  In case you’re wondering, the first piece by Hallman is now hanging in a room opposite a window that has red painted trim and mullions and it looks fabulous!
